As we begin 2025, the Panel is keen to receive updates on the pieces of legislation within your remit that are expected to be lodged during the year. We would appreciate a detailed overview of the scope and progress as well as the anticipated timelines for the following workstreams:
• Amendments to the Regulation of Care (Jersey) Law 2014
• Animal Welfare (Jersey) Law 2004
• Trawling Netting Dredging Regulations
• Amendments to the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law
• Bridging Island Plan
Your cooperation in providing these updates will greatly assist the Panel in its ongoing work and planning for the year ahead. The Panel would be grateful to receive a formal written response by no later than Tuesday 28th January 2025.
