To approve record of meetings held on 19th and 24th February 2025.

Members will be asked to note the declaration of interests section in the Scrutiny and Public Accounts Committee Proceedings Code of Practice and consider declaring any new interests relevant to the items on this agenda.

To note responses from:

the  Ministers  for  Housing  and  the  Assistant  Minister  with  responsibility  for Financial Services regarding engagement with mortgage providers and to agree any resulting action.  

the Minister for the Environment on the timeline for the Animal Welfare Law.

  1. Question Plan - Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Infrastructure

To allocate question areas among Panel members prior to the quarterly hearing with the Minister for Infrastructure. [Teams]

To discuss the question areas to be included in the question plan for the quarterly hearing with the Minister for the Environment to be held on 26th March 2025.

To welcome the Minister for Infrastructure and Government Officers for a  quarterly hearing.

Briefings  

  1. Amendment to Gas Law

To join the Children, Education and Home Affairs Panel for a private briefing on amendments to the Gas law being presented by the Minister for Home Affairs.

  1. Ramsar sites

To review a briefing paper and note that the Panel will receive a briefing on Ramsar sites and progress on the Marine Spatial Plan on 12th March 2025. [to follow]
