Family Friendly Post-Implementation Review The Panel received an update on the progress of the planned review into the family friendly legislation following discussions with the Scrutiny Liaison Committee (SLC). The Panel discussed the options of establishing a Sub-Panel or Review Panel and the proposed scope of the review and agreed the best course of action was to establish a Sub-Panel focused on the family friendly legislation with scope to include the ability to allow further areas of consideration and follow up. The Panel requested that Officers prepare a revised scoping document and Terms of Reference for review at the next Panel meeting with subsequent presentation to the SLC. |

4. Prescription of Medication for ADHD Review The Panel noted and reflected on the publishing of the Prescription of Medication for ADHD Review report on 6th December 2024 and was content with the process and execution. The Panel received a paper noting the press coverage of the report publication. The Panel noted that the Ministerial Response was due on 28th January 2025 and agreed to discuss this at the Panel's next meeting. The Panel agreed to consider what follow-up actions it might wish to take following the Ministerial Response. |

5. Work programme and additional proposed review topic areas for 2025 The Panel discussed its ongoing work programme and noted topics of interest for future reviews. The Panel noted that the 2025 Ministerial Delivery Plans had not been shared with the Panel to date and requested Officers to liaise with the relevant Officers to receive an update on these in order to inform the work programme. The Panel noted the publication of the Women's Health and Wellbeing JSNA Main Report 2024 on 18thh December 2024, and considered a number of ways to ensure it was receiving updates on the work regarding Women's Health, including a public hearing focusing on this area. | JF/KC |

Quarterly Hearing Question Plans The Panel considered a number of question topics for its Quarterly Hearings with the Ministers for Social Security on 11th February 2025 and the Minister for Health and Social Services on 19th February 2025. The Panel agreed to consider and approve its final question plan at its next meeting. |

Briefing: Home Birth Suspension The Panel received the Minister and Assistant Minister for Health and Social Services, the Interim Chief Nurse and Director of Midwifery for a briefing on the recent suspension of the Maternity Unit's home birth service. The meeting was held in private in accordance with the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 (as amended) under Absolute Exemption Article 26. The Panel discussed the publication of the Op Crocus update - the Clinical Audit and Patient Review in Rheumatology (The Review) January 2025 to the Health and Care Jersey Advisory Board. It was agreed to review this report and add any relevant follow-up questions to the question plan for the Panel's Quarterly Public Hearing with the Minister for Health and Social Services on 5th March.
