Draft Comptroller and Auditor General (Jersey) Amendment Law 202- (P.11/2026) – Children’s Rights Impact Assessment

The draft Comptroller and Auditor General (Jersey) Amendment Law 202- amends the Comptroller and Auditor General (Jersey) Law 2014 to update governance arrangements for the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG), including clarifying appointment and revocation processes, inserting provisions on staff, liability, reporting, and enabling Regulations for auditor/independent examiner appointments.

Groups of children could include early years, primary or secondary education; young adults; children with additional learning needs; disabled children; children living in poverty; children from particular ethnic backgrounds; migrants; refugees; care experienced children and LGBTQ+ children
