The States Assembly are being asked to endorse the amendments to the Public Records (Jersey) Law 2002 which was introduced to provide the legal framework for the management, preservation, and accessibility of public records in Jersey. The proposed amendments to the Law aim to update and clarify existing provisions, strengthen the responsibility of the Archivist and clarify the responsibilities of public institutions. |
