Government Plan lodged for debate
States Assembly
23 July 2019
The Council of Ministers has lodged the Government Plan 2020-2023 for debate. The Plan sets out the Government's proposals for income-generation and spending and explains how the Government's strategic priorities will be delivered.
The Government Plan will be debated by the States Assembly on 26 November 2019, when States members will be asked to approve the allocation of funds to States bodies; the taxation and income-raising measures that have previously formed part of the Budget; and the major capital projects to be started or continued in 2020. Furthermore, the Assembly will be asked to establish a Climate Emergency Fund.
