Voting in Jersey

Elections to the States Assembly take place every four years.

Anyone aged 16 or over who has lived in Jersey for at least two years prior to an election (or who has lived in Jersey for the six months leading up to the election plus further periods totalling at least five years) is entitled to vote for the candidates they wish to represent them in the States Assembly.

Jersey's next election will take place in 2026.
