Next week's States Meeting

The next meeting of the States Assembly will commence on Monday, 2 November, at 2:15pm. The entire sitting will be broadcast live using Microsoft Teams via the following links:

·Monday Afternoon (2:15pm)
·Tuesday Morning (9:30pm)
·Tuesday Afternoon (2:15pm)

The first items for the Assembly will be the nomination of a Minister or Assistant Minister to the Privileges and Procedures Committee (PPC) and the nomination of the following Members to join the Public Accounts Committee (PAC):

· Constable of St Peter, Richard Vibert
· Constable of St Martin, Karen Shenton-Stone
· Deputy of St Saviour, Jess Perchard.

There will then be two hours of oral questions, details of which can be found in the Order Paper. The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Judy Martin, and the Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré, will then answer questions without notice for 15 minutes each.

After question time, the Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré, will make a statement in relation to the Government's Chief Executive's external directorship role, then the following topics will be debated (in this order):

A notification when each debate begins, a summary of the proposal and the results of each debate will be shared on the States Assembly Twitter and Facebook pages throughout the sitting, which is expected to extend beyond Monday.
