REPORT

Although the Minister for Transport and Technical Services has responsibility for some road traffic matters, advice has been received that legal issues relating to wheel clamping, particularly on private land, do not fall within the remit of TTS. This self- explanatory amendment therefore moves full responsibility for taking this proposal forward, if adopted, to the Minister for Home Affairs.

Financial and manpower statement

There are no additional financial or manpower implications for the States arising from this amendment.
