REPORT

Having recently had this question put to me by a member of the media, this historic information needs to be officially researched and put in the public domain. It was, for example, suggested to me that it may be the case that a parish Deputy could be required to sit across the aisle in the parish church away from other members of the municipality on formal occasions. I believe that it would be helpful for the role of the Deputy in a parish to be clarified.

Financial and manpower implications

There  are  no  additional  financial  or  manpower  implications  arising  from  this amendment.
