REPORT
In part b) of my original proposition I asked to "to extend the current contract", however as there is currently no lease in place and by extension no contract it is incorrect for me to ask the Assembly to "extend the existing contract". I have therefore updated part b) of my proposition to reflect the very unsatisfactory position in which the current operator finds themselves. The request though remains the same, to continue trading and not close whilst a tender process is in effect.
Financial and staffing implications
This amendment results in no additional financial and staffing implications beyond what was set out in the proposition it seeks to amend.
Children’s Rights Impact Assessment
A Children’s Rights Impact Assessment (CRIA) has been prepared in relation to this proposition and is available to read on the States Assembly website.
