HOME FARM, LA VALLÉE DE ST. PIERRE, ST. PETER – ASSISTED HOUSE PURCHASE PROPERTY;

PURCHASE OF LAND ADJOINING LA CROIX COTTAGE, LA RUE DES PRÈS, GROUVILLE;

EXCHANGE AND COUNTER EXCHANGE OF LAND AT LE SQUEZ ESTATE, ST. CLEMENT.

REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –

The lease of Sandbanks, La Cloture, Park Estate, St. Brelade , from J. Bouchet Ltd. for a term of 3 years with effect from 1st May 2010.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

The lease of 3 The Fairways, La Rue Horman, Grouville , from Mr. William John Reynolds and Mrs. Doreen Annette Reynolds (née Horman) for a term of 3 years with effect from 24th February 2010.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

Under the Assisted House Purchase Scheme, the sale by the Public of Home Farm, La Vallée de St. Pierre, St. Peter in consideration of the payment of the outstanding Assisted  House  Purchase  loan balance  at  the  time  of  passing contract.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

The purchase by the Public of a strip of land adjoining La Croix Cottage, La Rue des Près, Grouville .

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

To rescind (MD-PH-2010-0008) to allow for the correction in respect of the payment  of  the  other  party's  legal  fees  and  the  recommendation  of  the Minister for Housing (MD-H-2010-0003), in relation to the exchange and counter exchange of various parcels of land around the eastern boundary of Le Squez Estate with the Samarès Nurseries site.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
