Land Transactions under Standing Order 168(3) –

LAND TRANSACTIONS UNDER STANDING ORDER 168(3) –

1. LA POUCLÉE LODGE, LA POUQUELAYE, ST. HELIER – SALE;
2. ACQUISITION OF LAND AT HAMEAU DE LA MER, ST. CLEMENT;
3. GRAINVILLE TENNIS CLUB, GRAINVILLE SPORTS GROUND, ST. SAVIOUR'S HILL, ST. SAVIOUR – LEASE;
4. APARTMENT No. 3, BLOCK E, LES QUENNEVAIS PARK – TRANSFER OF THE PUBLIC'S FLYING-FREEHOLD OWNERSHIP AND CANCELLATION OF EXISTING 99 YEAR LEASE.

REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

1. Land transaction –

1. To sell La Pouclée Lodge, La Pouquelaye, St. Helier to the preferred bidder arising from bids received during the recent marketing of the property, with each side to meet their own costs in passing contract.
2. To request the Minister for Health and Social Services to approve the sale.
3. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

2. Land transaction –

1. To acquire a parcel of land adjacent to the development known as Hameau de la Mer and bordering the main road, La Grande Route de la Côte, and situated in the Parish of St. Clement .
2. To confirm,  in the  same  contract,  the  boundaries  between  the development and the parcel of land.
3. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

3. Land transaction –

1. To grant a new 9 year lease to the existing tenant, under the terms and conditions  set  out  in the  report  accompanying  the Ministerial Decision.
2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

4. Land transaction –

1. To cancel the existing 99 year lease of Apartment No. 3, Block E, Les Quennevais  Park,  and  to transfer  to the  present  lessees  the Public's  flying  freehold  interest  in the  unit –  for  an  agreed consideration, plus reasonable costs incurred – in accordance with the approved  policy  (under  MD-PH-2012-0124),  and  the  independent valuation arranged by Jersey Property Holdings.
2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
