REPORT

On 12 November 2024, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs made a Ministerial Decision delegating certain of her functions under Articles 28A and 30 of the States of Jersey Law 2005 (see Decision reference MD-HA-2024-863, available at www.gov.je).

The terms of the delegations, and the legislation under which those delegations were made, were recorded in a Report attached to the Ministerial Decision, as shown below –

The Assistant Minister will have delegated responsibility for:

o  Youth Justice policy

Scope of delegation:

Full delegation in respect of the above areas. This includes the authority to sign ministerial decisions in respect of these areas and in respect of any provisions included in any relevant legislation.

The previous delegation of functions in respect of the Assistant Minister, as outlined in r.16-2024, remain extant.
