The Planning and Environment Committee supports this proposition having given planning permission to the proposed redevelopment as an exception to the Agricultural Priority Zone. In so doing, and in considering a possible sale of the Nonpareil site, the Committee had regard to the negligible potential for this land in isolation. The incorporation of that area of the site required for car parking forms an integral element of the scheme, which in overall terms carries associated benefits to both the Parish of St. Peter and the Public. Any sale contract would covenant the purchasers to develop the sites concerned in accordance with the planning approvals granted by the Committee.
