The Finance and Economics Committee is cautious to raise expectations that additional funding will be available for the development of a cultural strategy for the Island as proposed in the report and proposition given the current financial circumstances of the States. On that basis, any request for additional funds will need to be prioritised alongside other States' initiatives as part of any future resource allocation process.
