COMMENTS

The Minister for Health and Social Services welcomes the Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel's support for the principle of establishing a new governance model in the form of a System Partnership Board for health and social care in the Island.

The  Minister  is  happy  to  accept  the  Panel's  proposed  amendment to  P.60/2017, requesting that the Board should not be formally established before April 2018.

Subject to the Proposition being adopted by the Assembly, the early part of next year will be taken up by work with stakeholders to finalise details of the proposed model.
