THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 19 of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2005, declared that the Bill entitled the Income Tax (Amendment No. 27) (Jersey) Law 200- (P.167/2006 lodged "au Greffe" on 5th December 2006 by the Minister for Treasury and Resources) should have effect for the year of assessment 2007 and ensuing years as if the declaration were the registration of a Law passed by the States and sanctioned by her Majesty in Council that was to come in force on registration.

THE STATES acceded to the request of the Minister for Treasury and Resources, made in accordance with Standing Order 26(7), and, being satisfied that the draft Howard Davis Farm (Partial Abrogation of Covenant) (Jersey) Law 200- was of such urgency and importance that it would be prejudicial to Jersey to delay its debate, agreed to reduce the minimum lodging period so that it might be considered on 30th January 2007.
