Standing A1. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A5 of 7th February 2013, Orders: draft recalled having identified a need to amend Standing Order No. 168(4) prior to the amendment to coming into force of the Residential Tenancy (Jersey) Law 2011.
Standing Order
No. 168(4). The Committee considered the draft Amendment No.20 of the Standing Orders of 450/2(21) the States of Jersey. It observed that the draft Amendment would extend the one
month notice period in Standing Order 168(4) to a period of 3 months, thereby ensuring that Housing Department tenancies would not be subject to the 15 day notification period.
The Committee approved the draft Amendment and requested that it be lodged au Greffe' without delay and with a view to securing a date for debate of 19th March or as soon as possible thereafter.
The Greffier of the States was authorised to take the necessary action.
