Draft States of A1. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. B4 of 16th April 2014, Jersey received a draft comment in respect of the amendment of Deputy J.H. Young to the (Amendment proposition "Draft States of Jersey (Amendment No. 8) Law 201-" (P.33/2014 No. 8) Law Third Amendment refers). Deputy Young was not present for the Committee's 201- consideration of this item.

Third Having considered the content of the draft comment, the Committee approved the Amendment. same and requested the Greffier of the States to present the comment to the States 450(16) at the earliest opportunity.
States A2. The Committee received correspondence dated 24th April 2014 from the Members' States Members' Remuneration Review Body (SMRRB) and the amendment of Remuneration Senator P.F.C. Ozouf to the proposition "Draft States of Jersey (Amendment No. Review Body: 8) Law 201-" (P.33/2014 Eighth Amendment refers).

The Review Body had noted the (Amendment amendment of Senator Ozouf to P.33/2014, which proposed the repeal of Article No. 8) Law 44, which related to the Remuneration of elected members, in order to remove the 201- current inhibition in the States of Jersey Law on a pay structure for elected (P.33/2014): members that would allow for differential pay.
