Minutes A1. The Minutes of the meeting held on 6th September 2016 (Part A and Part B),
having previously been circulated, were taken as read and were confirmed.
British-Irish A2. The Committee noted a report by the Senior Committee Clerk in respect of Parliamentary his attendance at the British-Irish Parliamentary Reporting Association (BIPRA) Reporting Annual Conference, which had been held in Belfast between the 23rd and 26th Association August 2016.

Annual The Committee was informed that the BIPRA conferences were hosted by each Conference – member jurisdiction, in rotation, and provided learning and development report from the opportunities for staff members involved in producing the Hansard' reports. Senior
Committee This year's conference had been opened by the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Clerk. Assembly, Mr. Robin Newton, MBE, MLA, and had included various presentations 1240/10/1(2) on a range of subjects, such as the production, storage and usage of public records;
reporting languages, other than English; and swearing in Parliament.
The 2017 BIPRA conference would be hosted in Jersey and it was hoped that approximately 40 delegates from all over the British Isles and Republic of Ireland would be in attendance.
The Committee noted the report with interest.
