in Regulation 3(1) –
- in sub-paragraph (b)(ii) and (iii) for "workplaces" there should be substituted "specified workplaces or a specified class of workplace";
- in sub-paragraph (c) after "open" there should be inserted "or being open only for, or except for, specified purposes"; and

Draft Covid-19 (Workplace Restrictions) (Jersey) Regulations 202- P.59/2020
THE STATES, resuming consideration of the Draft Covid-19 (Workplace Restrictions) (Jersey) Regulations 202-, commenced consideration of Regulations 4 to 9 and, adopting part 3 of an amendment of the Minister for Health and Social Services, agreed that, in Regulation 5 –
for paragraph (1) there should be substituted –
"(1) A person who is an occupier or operator commits an offence, and is liable to a fine, if the person
contravenes a restriction Order by –
- opening a workplace that is prohibited from opening;
- opening a workplace other than for purposes for which is it permitted to be open;
- failing to take reasonable steps to prevent any person from entering a workplace that is prohibited from being open; or
- failing to take reasonable steps to comply with a specified condition."; and
in paragraph (4) "all" should be deleted.
