THE STATES commenced consideration of a proposition of Deputy Inna Gardiner of St. Helier entitled Incoming passengers from Green category jurisdictions: requirement to self-isolate' (P.122/2020) and, commencing  consideration  of  an  amendment  of  the  Minister  for  Health  and  Social  Services (P.122/2020 Amd.),  rejected  an  amendment  of   Deputy  Inna   Gardiner  of  St.  Helier (P.122/2020 Amd.Amd.) that the words "Monday 12th October" should be replaced with the words "Thursday 8th October.

THE STATES, adopting the proposition of Deputy Inna Gardiner of St. Helier , as amended, requested the Minister for Health and Social Services to take the necessary steps to introduce, effective from 23:59 on Monday 12th October 2020, a requirement for all incoming passengers from Green' jurisdictions or regions to self-isolate until receipt of a negative result from their first test for COVID-19.
