Amendment of A1. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. B5 of 18th October 2021, the Standing received and considered a draft report entitled Research Project: How might the Orders of the Standing Orders of the States of Jersey respond to the formation of political parties'. States of
Jersey to The Committee recalled that it had commissioned Dr C. Morris, Dr M. Bishop, provide for Professor J. Corbett and Mr P. Evans CBE to undertake a research project in order Political to identify where Standing Orders would need to be amended following the Parties – formation of political parties. A final report had been discussed by the Committee at Presentation of its meeting on 18th October 2021 and it had been agreed that the report, along with Report a short introductory report from the Committee, should be presented to the States in
the Reports series.
The Committee approved the report and requested the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to make the necessary arrangements for it to be presented to the States as soon as practicable.
