Commissioner A1. The Committee received and considered a report, prepared by the Commissioner for Standards – for Standards (the Commissioner') following his investigation into a potential breach Report into a of the Code of Conduct for Elected Members by Deputy I. Gardiner of St. Helier . complaint
against Deputy The Committee noted that Deputy Gardiner had referred herself to the Commissioner I. Gardiner of following an exchange of corresponding between the Public Accounts Committee and St. Helier the Chief Executive (Mr. C. Parker).
Following his investigation, the Commissioner found that Deputy Gardiner had not breached the Code of Conduct and that the exchange of correspondence suggested a regrettable breakdown of constructive communication between the Public Accounts Committee and the Chief Executive. The Committee noted the findings of the Commissioner and agreed to publish the report, without appendices, after the same had been sent to Deputy Gardiner . It instructed the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to take the necessary action.

against The Committee noted that Connétable Buchanan had referred himself to the Connétable Commissioner following media coverage related to electricity charges levied on tenants R.A Buchanan living in a property he jointly owned
of St. Ouen Following his investigation, the Commissioner found that Connétable Buchanan had not breached the Code of Conduct. The Commissioner commented that when

The Committee noted the findings of the Commissioner and agreed to publish the report, without appendices, after the same had been sent to Connétable Buchanan. It instructed the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to take the necessary action.
Commissioner A3. The Committee received and considered a report, prepared by the Commissioner for Standards – for Standards (the Commissioner') following his investigation into a potential breach Report into a of the Code of Conduct for Elected Members by Deputy R.E. Huelin of St. Peter . complaint
against Deputy The Committee noted that Deputy Huelin had referred himself to the Commissioner R.E Huelin of following media coverage related to electricity charges levied on tenants living in a St. Peter property he owned.
Following his investigation, the Commissioner found that the Deputy had not breached the Code of Conduct. The Commissioner commented that Deputy Huelin had been responsible for a business decision which, when he was advised that it had breached the Residential Tenancy Support of Services Order, he corrected.
The Committee noted the findings of the Commissioner and agreed to publish the report, without appendices, after the same had been sent to Deputy Huelin. It instructed the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to take the necessary action
