Establishment A1. The Committee, with reference to Minute No. A9 of 26th July 2022, noted that an of Sub- electronic mail message had been circulated to all States Members inviting expressions Committees. of interest for membership of the Diversity Forum and Political Awareness Education
Sub-Committees.
The Committee agreed the following membership of the Diversity Forum:

Deputy H.L. Jeune of St. John , St. Lawrence and Trinity Deputy R.L. Kovacs of St. Saviour
Deputy B.B.de S.V.M. Porée of St. Helier South
Although it had confirmed the membership, the Committee noted that the Sub- Committee comprised all female members. Given that the purpose of the Sub- Committee was to ensure that the support and facilities available for States Members, and the Assembly's framework of rules, encouraged the development of a diverse and inclusive Assembly, the Committee requested the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to circulate a further email to members inviting additional expressions of interest in the hope of achieving a more gender balanced membership.
The Committee was advised that Deputy M.R. Scott of St. Brelade had also expressed an interest in joining the Sub-Committee, but wished to wait for confirmation as to which member of the Scrutiny Liaison Committee was to become the representative member of the Privileges and Procedures Committee. Deputy Scott had confirmed that if she was not appointed as a member of the Committee, she would wish to join the
