The effect of this Order is to increase the maximum penalty for an offence under the Potatoes (Precautions against Blight) (Jersey) Order 1961 to a fine of £1000, and a further fine of £400 for every day on which the offence continues.
The Order was made by the Agriculture and Fisheries Committee on 24th November 1999 and comes into force on 1st January 2000.
