The effect of this Order is to vary foreign postal rates. The rates were last varied with effect from 22nd January 2002.
The Order was made by the Committee for Postal Administration on 10th December 2002, and comes into force on 31st March 2003.
R & O 177/2002
The purpose of this Order is to extend the pet travel scheme to cover pets imported from Bahrain, Canada and the United States of America.
The Order was made on 10th December 2002 and come into force on 12th December 2002. R & O 178/2002
The effect of this Order is to vary the insular and domestic letter post rates. The rates were last varied with effect from 22nd January 2002.
The Order was made by the Committee for Postal Administration on 11th December 2002, and comes into force on 31st March 2003.
R & O 179/2002
The purpose of this Order is to increase certain fees payable in respect of the solemnization of marriages and the fee for searches in the indexes maintained by the Superintendent Registrar.
The fees increased are -
- o n givingnoticeof marriage, whereoneor both of the parties reside in Jersey, from £30 to £40;
- o n givingnoticeof marriage, where neither party resides in Jersey, from £105 to £120;
- f ortheissue of a certificate for solemnization of a marriage outside the Island, from £15 to £30;
- f orattendanceof a parish registrar at a marriage between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., from £50 to £60;
- for solemnization of a marriage by the Superintendent Registrar or a delegate at the Superintendent Registrar's office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., from £50 to £60;
- fo r a search oftheindexesmaintainedby the Superintendent Registrar, from £14 to £20 perhourorpart.
The Order was made on 11th December 2002 and comes into force on 1st January 2003.
