  1. STATEMENTS  AND PROPOSITIONS  RELATING  TO THE ARRANGEMENT  OF  PUBLIC  BUSINESS  AT  THIS  OR  ANY SUBSEQUENT MEETING

In  accordance  with  Standing  Order  22(3),  the  President  of  the  Privileges  and Procedures  Committee  has  instructed  the  Greffier  of  the  States  to  withdraw  the proposition regarding the Code of Practice on Public Access to Official Information: measures  to  improve  implementation,  (P.164/2003  lodged "au  Greffe" on  18th November 2003), the Committee having lodged a revised proposition at the present meeting.

THE STATES are asked to agree that the following matter lodged "au Greffe" be considered at their next meeting on 11th May 2004 -

R&O 26/2004

This Order will increase controlled taxi-cab fares by 5.5%. The Order was made on 20th April 2004, and came into force on the day that it was made.

R&O 27/2004

This Order prescribes the standards a protective helmet required to be worn by a person riding a motor cycle or moped in Jersey must comply with if it is to be sold in Jersey.

The Order incorporates the present British Standards and a new international standard. The Order was made on 21st April 2004, and comes into force 7 days after it was made.
