This Order increases the weekly and daily hospital accommodation charges for long-stay patients over the age of 65 from £394.10 to £405.30 and from £56.30 to £57.90 respectively. This represents an increase of approximately 2.9% since the charges were last increased on 1st October 2005.

The Order prescribes for the purposes of the Health Care (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1995 qualifications (consisting of the appropriate registration in the United Kingdom), in relation to registered nurses: first level and registered nurses: second level.
