R&O.123/2007

This Order amends the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Jersey) Order 2003 by prescribing the categories of Jersey licence that may be issued in relation to a category of domestic driving permit issued in a country, or a part of a country, that is prescribed in the Order.

The Order was made on 4th October 2007 and comes into force on 11th October 2007. R&O.124/2007

This Order amends the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Jersey) Order 1998 to require motor vehicles whose permitted speed is restricted to 30 miles per hour to display circular plates to that effect.

It also requires low platform trailers to display rectangular plates identifying them as such.

The restrictions do not apply to a person who is not a resident of Jersey, if his or her vehicle has been brought into Jersey temporarily for a period not exceeding 3 months.

The Order was made on 4th October 2007 and comes into force on 1st January 2008.
