- i ncreases the fee for a copyof a certificate of birth, marriageor death from £10 to £20 (the fee hasnot been increased since May2002);
- a dds a fee of £50 for re-registration of the surname of a child born before31stOctober 2008 where the name is notbeingre-registeredatthe same time as the father'snameisbeingadded to the register, or upon the marriage of the parents or within one year of the child's birth.
