This Order increases amounts of savings, and amounts or percentages of earnings and of income from pensions, that are to be disregarded when a person's income is calculated for the purposes of assessing entitlement to income support. The rules for calculation of income were last reviewed and amended in February 2009.
The Order was made on 4th September 2009 and comes into force on 1st October 2009.
