R&O.56/2010.

This Order amends the Motor Traffic (Cabs – Fares and Charges) (Jersey) Order 2008 to increase the fares and charges for use of a controlled taxi cab, from the levels at which they were last set on 16th June 2008. All the figures in the Order are amended except the 30p unit for additional distances and waiting times (and the 20p for additional charges). Figures for initial distances, additional distances and waiting times are reduced, and fares for initial distances are increased, according to a formula that produces an average weighted increase which is intended to reflect the 6% rise in the RPI(Taxi) figure over the period.
