"Having been notified of a complaint made to the Privileges and Procedures Committee by the Chief Minister regarding comments I made about a civil servant in the Chamber and the Royal Square, will the Chairman advise whether a hearing is to be held and, if so, when, and will she state whether any hearing will be in camera'?"

11. The Deputy St. Martinwill ask the followingquestionofthe Minister for Home Affairs –

"Will the Minister inform Members whether the former Senior Investigation Officer, who on his departure from Jersey made remarks in relation to the historic abuse investigation which the Minister considered to be "inappropriate and unprofessional", is currently employed by the States of Jersey Police and, if so, in what capacity, on whose authority and was the Minister informed of the appointment?"

"As businesses at Liberty Wharf are starting to begin trading, would the Minister advise members which companies will be occupying the site; give details of the leases and rental sums and advise whether the rental income will be paid to the Waterfront Enterprise Board, the States or another body?"

"Following the announcement of CSR proposals such those relating to GST Bonus, the reduction in housing adaptations by 50% and the removal of the Christmas bonus to certain groups, what steps, if any, will the Minister take to ensure that the most vulnerable in society will not be affected by CSR cuts?"

This  Order amends  the Schedule  to the  Taxation  (Exchange of Information with  Third  Countries) (Jersey) Regulations 2008 by specifying 5th May 2010 as the date on which the tax information exchange agreement between Jersey and Ireland came into force.

The Order was made on 24th May 2010 and came into force forthwith. R&O.51/2010.

This Order allows the Classic and Vintage Motor Racing Club of Jersey Limited to close certain roads in St.  Ouen's Bay, Westmount, Mount Bingham and West Park, for road racing events and an entertainment on 4th, 5th and 6th June 2010.

The Order was made on 24th May 2010 and came into force forthwith. R&O.53/2010.

This Order amends Schedule  2 to the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law 1978, to reclassify the controlled drug mephedrone from Class  C to Class  B for the purpose of Article  3 of the Law.

The Order was made on 26th May 2010 and came into force on 2nd June 2010. R&O.54/2010

This Order amends the Bee Diseases Control (Jersey) Order 1992 so as to enable the Minister for Planning and Environment to declare an infected area where the presence of American foul brood or European foul brood is confirmed.

"Can the Minister give details of what health cover, if any, exists for anybody working on the Island who does not pay Social Security and explain what happens should a patient needing extended hospital care find that their company/private insurance cover has run out? Is the cost recovered from the patient, and if not, who pays?

Of those not paying Social Security and who are treated at the General Hospital what percentage of patients are not insured and how much has to be written off  by the Health and Social Services Department annually?

How much has Health and Social Services spent in supporting patients since the reciprocal health agreement was terminated?"

"Will the Chief Minister maintain the commitment given by his predecessor in an official statement to the Assembly on 30th July 2007, that, subject to the anthem competition producing something of appropriate quality, a proposition seeking the winning entry's formal adoption as Jersey's anthem would be brought to the Assembly for debate, and if not, why?"

" W hat discussions, if any, have taken place and with whom about the design of the Town Park? What measures, if any, has the Minister put in place to ensure that the Park will not only be completed quickly but will meet users' needs and expectations? 1. providing undergroundparking;
2. providing aboveground parking;
3. measures to avoidthe need for the parking?

Was consideration given by Hopkins Architects Limited to the possibility of initiating a Park and Ride' scheme using the Parish halls or other community venues or car parks as centres and, if not, why?

Has he obtained information from the Transport and Technical Services Department regarding the Sustainable Transport Policy and its likely impact on the need for parking provision in the town, and, if so, will he share this information with members?"

"Will the Minister provide members with a report, in advance of the debate on the appointment of the new Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police, which includes the extracts from the Wiltshire Report into the Abuse Inquiry which address the key issues relating to the suspension of the former Chief Officer, for example in relation to the skull/coconut issue. Full details of all interviews and statements made by the then Senior Investigating Officer on the key issues should be included in chronological order, so that members can evaluate this whole matter for themselves?"
