This Order increases fees, from 1st January 2011, under 3 regimes administered by the Minister for Economic Development.
There is an increase of approximately 2.5% in the fee for an application for registration, or the renewal of registration, of premises as a place of refreshment under Article 4(1) of the Places of Refreshment (Jersey) Law 1967. That fee was last increased on 1st January 2010.
The fees for registration (or renewal) under the Tourism (Jersey) Law 1948 are increased by approximately 2.5%. Those fees were last increased on 1st January 2010.
The fees for testing weighing or measuring equipment, under Article 12 of the Weights and Measures (Jersey) Law 1967, are increased by approximately 2.5%. Those fees were last increased on 1st January 2010.
The Order was made on 12th November 2010 and comes into force on 1st January 2011.
