This Order gives effect in Jersey to Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 611/2011 of 23 June 2011 (OJ L 164, 24.6.2011 p.1), which further amends Council Regulation (EU) No. 442/2011 of 9 May 2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Syria (OJ L 121, 10.5.2011, p.1). The amendment adds persons and entities to the list of those subject to the restrictive measures, in Annex II to that Regulation (as previously substituted by Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 504/2011 of 23 May 2011, OJ L 136, 24.5.2011 p.45).

This Order further amends the Community Provisions (Restrictive Measures– Côte d'Ivoire) (Jersey) Order 2011 to take account of amendments to Regulation (EC) No. 560/2005 made by Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 623/2011 of 27 June 2011.
