Health Insurance (Pharmaceutical Benefit) (General Provisions) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Order 2017.

This Order amends the Health Insurance (Pharmaceutical Benefit) (General Provisions) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2002 –

  1. to remove the reliance in that Order on a process whereby a person for whom a supply of a substance or product by way of pharmaceutical benefit is ordered has been the subject of a notification to the Medical Officer of Health pursuant to the Misuse of Drugs (Addicts) (Jersey) Order 1980; and
  2. to add new items to, or remove items from, the list of pharmaceutical benefits which may be supplied for 90 days on any one prescription signed by an approved medical practitioner.

The Order was made on 6th October 2017 and comes into force on 13th October 2017.

Control of Housing and Work (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2017.

Article 1 further amends the Control of Housing and Work (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2013, to add a provision prescribing the amount of annual charges payable in respect of Registered persons permitted by business licences to work in or for undertakings in Jersey. The charges are set at £500 per permission payable by an employment agency in respect of each Registered person permitted to work for the agency (which includes in particular Registered persons whose labour is supplied by the agency to other undertakings), and £50 per permission payable by all other undertakings.

Article 2 gives the title by which this Order may be cited and provides for it to come into force the day after it is made.

The Order was made on 6th October 2017 and came into force on 7th October 2017.
