Road Traffic ( St. Clement ) (Amendment No. 23) (Jersey) Order 2018.

This Order further amends the Road Traffic ( St. Clement ) (Jersey) Order 1987 (the "principal Order" as defined in Article 1) to change the prohibition of waiting on various roads in the parish of St. Clement and to change the parking disc restriction on La Grève d'Azette in that parish.

Article 2 amends the entries in Schedule 2 to the principal Order the effect of which is to change the prohibition of waiting under Article 3 of that Order relating to –

  1. La Grande Route de la Côte so that out of date entries due to changes in the house names of certain properties on that road are corrected;
  2. La Grande Route de St. Clement by introducing a new prohibition of waiting on both sides of that road, from its junction with La Rue du Presbytère for a distance of 36 yards in a southerly direction;
  3. La Petite Sente so that the prohibition of waiting applies to both sides of that road, from its junction with La Grande Route de la Côte to a point 260 yards in an easterly direction;
  4. La Rue du Hocq so that the prohibition of waiting applies to both sides of that road, for its entire length; and
  5. La Rue de Maupertuis so that the prohibition of waiting applies to both sides of that road, from its junction with La Grande Route de la Côte to a point 60 yards east of the eastern entrance of Le Clos de la Mare.

Article 3 amends Schedule 3 to the principal Order so that the restriction under Article 4 of that Order (on parking a vehicle on a road or part of road, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., on any day other than Sunday, for a period in excess of 2 hours without displaying a parking disc) is changed in relation to La Grève d'Azette so that it applies to the south side of that road, from a point 16 yards east of its junction with Green Road to a point 44 yards further east.

Article 4 sets out the title of this Order and provides for it to come into force 7 days after it is made. The Order was made on 19th February 2018 and comes into force on 26th February 2018.
