Taxation (Implementation) (International Tax Compliance) (Common Reporting Standard) Regulations (Jersey) Amendment Order 2024.
Minister for External Relations.
This Order amends the Taxation (Implementation) (International Tax Compliance) (Common Reporting Standard) (Jersey) Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") to add and remove entries from the tables of participating jurisdictions in Schedules 2, 3 and 4 to the Order.
Article 2 amends the table in Schedule 4. This adds entries for Jamaica, Kenya, New Caledonia and Thailand. The relevant date for the purpose of Regulation 3 of the Regulations for of these new entries is 31st December 2022 and the relevant year for the purposes of Regulations 5 and 8 is 2023.
Articles 3, 4 and 5 delete Anguilla and Monserrat from the table in Schedule 2, Niue and Trinidad and Tobago from the table in Schedule 3 and Liberia and Morocco from the table in Schedule 4.
The amendments in Article 2 come into force the date after the Order is made and the amendments in Articles 3, 4 and 5 come into force on 1st July 2024.
The Order was made on 10th June 2024. Articles 1, 2 and 6 come into force on 11th June 2024 and Articles 3, 4 and 5 come into force on 1st July 2024.
Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Jersey) Repeal Order 2024.

This Order repeals –
• the Road Traffic (Signs for Speed Limits) (Jersey) Order 2024; and
• the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Jersey) Amendment Order 2024.
Those Orders were to change the speed limits on certain roads in St. Brelade , St. John and St. Lawrence . This Order comes into force on the day after it is made.
The Order was made on 11th June 2024 and came into force on 12th June 2024.

In accordance with Standing Order 104A, a time limit of 15 minutes applies to speeches made during debate, unless discretion has been exercised to allow for a longer, or shorter, time limit. No time limit applies to either speech made by the proposer.
Discretion is exercised by the Presiding Officer in accordance with guidance issued by the Bailiff , following consultation with the Privileges and Procedures Committee. The current guidance was presented to the States in the report Time Limits on Speeches in Debates: Guidance on the Exercise of Discretion' (R.3/2021).
