The Harbours and Airport Committee has no objections to this development from a safety point of view. The former Stampers Foodstore lies within the existing aircraft Noise Zone One. New noise legislation is being discussed by the Harbours and Airport and the Planning and Environment Committees which will result in the Noise Zones shrinking closer to the Airport and releasing this dwelling from Noise Zone One. This change is as a result of the States policy decision that Jersey Airport should not accept noisy Chapter 2 jets.
