PROPOSITION

THE STATES are asked to decide whether they are of opinion -

to approve the appointment of the undermentioned as trustees for the purpose of administering the income of the Greville Bathe Fund -

  (a ) J u rat Sally Carolyn Ann Harris on, wife of Philip John Brayn Le Brocq, in place of Ernest William Herbert

who, on 27th April 1999 ceased to hold the office of Jurat; and

  (b ) J u rat Michael Arthur Rumfitt in place of Charles Leonard Gruchy who, on 15th March 1999 ceased to hold

the office of Jurat.

Report

The will of the late Greville Inverness Bathe provided for the setting up of a fund to be known as the Greville Bathe Fund which would provide for relief and pensions to persons in need who have given service in an honorary or remunerated administrative or clerical capacity to the Island or relief to sick persons of either sex.

The administration of the Fund is carried out by four Jurats of the Royal Court selected by the States.

The Superior Number of the Royal Court by Act dated 7th June 1999, approved that Jurat Sally Carolyn Ann Harris on, wife of Philip John Brayne Le Brocq, be nominated by the States for the purpose of administering the income of the Greville Bathe Fund in place of Ernest William Herbert who, on 27th April 1999 ceased to hold the office of Jurat.

Similarly, the Superior Number of the Royal Court by Act dated 18th March, approved that Jurat Michael Arthur Rumfitt be nominated by the States for the purpose of administering the income of the Greville Bathe Fund in place of Charles Leonard Gruchy who, on 15th March 1999 ceased to hold the office of Jurat.

The other trustees of the Fund are Jurats M.J. Le Ruez and A.P. Querée.
