Impôts –

(i ) i n cr e ase Spirits by £92,000 from £4,361,000 to £4,453,000; (i i) i n c re ase wine by £108,000 from £5,170,000 to £5,278,000; (i ii ) i n c re ase beer by £102,000 from £4,851,000 to £4,953,000.

This amendment would increase the duty on alcohol, excluding cider, by 2.1% and raises £302,000 to be ring- fenced for the provision of television licences for persons aged 75 years and over, the details of which are to be approved by the States in 2005 in the event that Senator M.E. Vibert brings such proposals forward for consideration.
