POLICY AND RESOURCES COMMITTEE
REPORT
The Employers' side membership comprises 6 representatives of the States, one representative of the Parish of St. Helier and one representative of theComité des Connétable s.
The Committee remains particularly committed to maximizing regular opportunities for effective communications and exchanges with the Employees' Side of the Council, particularly in the current climate of change within the States of Jersey. It therefore recommends that these arrangements continue pending the introduction of ministerial government.
The Parish of St. Helier will continue to be represented by the Connétable of that Parish, and theComité has appointed the Connétable of St. John as its representative.
The Chief Executive of the Policy and Resources Committee attends Council meetings. The Chief Executive of the States Human Resources Department traditionally fulfils the role of Employers' Side Secretary and the Director of Employee Relations from the Department is the Assistant Employers' Side Secretary.
There are no financial or manpower implications for the States arising from this proposition.
