M r . J ohn Richardson, Chief Executive Officer, Transport and Technical Services

CHIEF MINISTER

REPORT

The Employers' Side membership comprises four representatives of the States and one representative of the Connétable s.

The Employers' Side represents the Executive in negotiations with the Transport and General Workers Union on Manual Workers' pay and conditions of service. The nominations for the States' representatives have been based on the fact that they are either Assistant Ministers or Chief Officers of departments employing significant numbers of Manual Workers.

The Comité has decided that its representative will normally be the Constable of the Parish of St. Helier , which has the largest Parish Manual Worker work force.

There are no financial or manpower consequences arising from this proposition.
