Question
Could the Chief Minister advise how many consultants' reports have been produced across all States' departments during the period of the Machinery of Government reforms from 1999 to date and how much each one has cost?
Answer
I refer the Deputy to the attached information listing consultancy reports by departments. Departments were asked to provide the information in order to answer the question and the attached data is based on departmental returns supplied as a result of their best endeavours. States policy on the retention of records is 6 years and therefore there is no guarantee that complete records are available from 1999 and this may impact on the accuracy of the information provided.
