Question

Will the Minister advise –

  1. which States owned roads, if any, in the Parish of St. Brelade are currently being considered for traffic calming measures and/or a reduction in speed limits;
  2. what stage any of these considerations have reached; and
  3. whether the stretch of road at La Pulente has been included in any such considerations?

Answer

  1. Various roads in the Parish have been the subject of requests for traffic calming and/or reductions in speed limits, these include La Route de Noirmont, La Route de Bai, Mont Sohier, Route du Petit Port (between its junction with La Route du Sud and Rue de la Sergeante), Route de la Pulente and Rue de la Sergeante railway walk crossing.
  2. These requests are under review by officers of the Department for Infrastructure, Housing and Environment to assess what if anything can be done. These reviews have not been concluded.
