I am writing in relation to your recent announcement in the States Assembly, that you are intending to pause the work on the Jersey Care Model (JCM) in order to carry out a review of its spending and progress.
I would be grateful if you could firstly, confirm that pausing the JCM is still your intention. Secondly, if so, please could you provide the following information:
- The rationale behind the decision to pause the JCM.
- Details of the review you intend to carry out, including its main aims and objectives.
- The estimated timeframe in which the review is to be conducted and finalised.
- How you intend to publish the findings of the review.
- How you propose to involve and update the Panel in respect of this work.
I would be grateful if you could provide a response by 26th July 2022. If this deadline causes you any problems, please let me know.
