Dear Assistant Minister,

Digital Economy Strategy - Consultation

At its recent meeting, the Panel discussed the consultation documents and the signed Ministerial Decision regarding the Digital Economy Strategy.

We would be grateful if you could provide further information on the following:

  1. We understand the deadline for comments is the 9th November 2023; can you please confirm this and outline the method in which contributors can share their views?
  2. With whom have you consulted in relevant industries regarding the set-up of the consultation and how will it be communicated?
  3. Who was responsible for the design of the consultation including question content and using what methodology?

We would be grateful if you could respond to this no later by 23rd October in line with the 5 working days approved for responses between Scrutiny Panels and Ministers.

If you have any questions regarding this or our work in general, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please note that unless otherwise stated, all letters will be uploaded to the Scrutiny website as a matter of course.
