Health and Social Security Panel Women's Health Strategy
Dear Minister,
We refer to your letter dated 19th March which provided residual information from the Public Hearing on 14th March. In particular, the Panel was disappointed to learn that, despite your predecessor committing to producing a standalone Women's Health Strategy, you have instead proposed that women's health forms a part of the emerging whole system strategy due to the allocation of resources.
Please can you confirm what areas/workstreams, which were due to be captured within the Women's health Strategy, are being taken forward and which areas are not being progressed. Can you also provide some further information as to the reasons for this decision and the issue of allocation of resources that you refer to.
The Panel would be grateful if you could provide a response by Thursday 2nd May. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Deputy Louise Doublet
